Officials said a fire broke out in Sadar Bazar area of Delhi at 7am on Wednesday, but no casualties have been reported yet.

“It was a godown that held garments for export. The fire was big, but we have not received any reports of any casualties yet. We have sent ten fire tenders to help control the situation,” the Fire Control’s press department said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be investigated. “The police department will investigate the cause of the fire. We are currently working on controlling the fire,” said an official from the Fire control room.
Police officials said an investigation will soon follow. “The local police will investigate the matter. However, right now our priority is the rescue mission and to ensure that nobody is hurt. That has to be done first,” said an official.
