A day ago, Hindustan Times had reported that the DDA’s draw of lots has been postponed from November 5 to November 10, following delay in the uploading of application data on its websites. DDA vice-chairman Balvinder Kumar had said that applicants would be given time to rectify mistakes, even if it meant further delay in holding the draw of lots.

The DDA has said that data of the more than 8.5 lakh submitted applications will be uploaded on the website by October 30. Applicants would have time till November 1 to rectify any mistake in the original application.

Kumar had a meeting recently with all the banks designated to receive applications for the housing scheme and reviewed the status of the application data vis-à-vis its uploading on the DDA website.

“The DDA has been uploading all applications received from the banks on its website. As soon as the information is available at the website by October 30, the applicants can scrutinise what they have filled out in their application with respect to punching of data and correct them by reporting the errors to the banks,” said a DDA spokesperson.

Though the scheme, in which 25,034 flats were offer, was closed on October 15, details of only a few lakh applications had been uploaded on the DDA website till Wednesday, leaving several applicants in the lurch.
