A month before Commonwealth Games kicks off, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, on Friday, donned the cap of a civic overseer and took on the onus of getting rid of dengue-causing mosquitoes within a fortnight.

Dengue has infected 1,155 and killed three in Delhi this year.
The cleanliness drive begins on Monday with a deadline to cover 80 per cent of the Capital within two weeks.
The move is part of Centre's efforts to get the various agencies — Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Indian Railways, Delhi Cantonment Board and Public Works Department — to coordinate better and avoid a blame game.
"So far the agencies responsible had been working on their own, but now I'll ensure there's a coordinated effort. With the Games around the corner, we can't afford any more delay," said Azad.
