“We have asked all our state governments to introduce e-tendering system and we are also discussing introduction of different measures for ensuring clean and corruption-free governance,” Gadkari said. “We are requesting all our state governments to explore the possibility of establishing a Department of E-governance with a view to bringing in greater transparency and accountability in governance.”

Venkaiah Naidu has been given the task of coordinating with various state core groups and cells.

Gadkari also congratulated some of the BJP state governments on their “achievements”: MP for Lok Sewa Guarantee Act for “speedy disposal of cases pending before any government functionary” where an official has to pay compensation for delays;

Gujarat for fast-paced agriculture growth; and Karnataka for efficient transportation system.
Gadkari expressed satisfaction that 15000 activists had been trained in the last year; that Antyodaya projects were kicking off – with a new front Asanghathit Kamgar Mahasangh reaching out to unorganized sector workers – and the establishment of
various cells including the good governance cell, north-east Sampark cell, bioenergy cell and human rights cell.

He also announced that a new headquarter of the party was coming up, and that a reseach department would also be developed to contact experts on policy issues and document best practices of state governments.
