HC notice to BSES on wire installation

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday sought a response from BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd for installation of wires allegedly in a negligent manner in various localities across the city.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday sought a response from BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd for installation of wires allegedly in a negligent manner in various localities across the city.

A division bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Manmohan issued a notice to the company and sought a response to a PIL by October 11.

The PIL was filed by Jan Chetna Sangharsh Samiti, an NGO. In the petition, Jan Chetna Sangharsh Samiti sought directions for clearing such wires hanging low in residential areas, posing a serious threat to people across the city.
