Justice Gita Mittal recently asked the agency to file its response by October 22 on a petition filed by the Perfect Learning Pvt Ltd, through its counsel S K Agarwal,
challenging DDA's October 10 tender notice.

Seeking quashing of the tender, Agarwal claimed that 1,668 Sq Mtrs area on plot no-D in the Community Centre, Vivek Vihar was alloted to his client company as an alternate plot in September in pursuant to a High Court order.

He informed that the Court order came following the company's complaint that the previously auctioned land for a total sum of Rs 14,64,40,000 was encroached by non other than a Delhi Jal Board office and slum clusters.

The counsel alleged that the tender notice was "illegal" and "arbitrary" as DDA failed to bring it to his client's notice before floating the tender for construction of hotels.
Soon after the alternate plot was alloted in September, his client company has sent a representation-seeking price of the new plot.

DDA has failed to respond so far and meanwhile floated a tender, the counsel said, terming the DDA officials act as "unfair and unjust".
