Helpline impresses CBSE chief

Hum Se Poocho, Delhi's first 24-hour Board examination helpline for Class 12 students, was launched by Studymate in association with Hindustan Times and MT Educare on February 28 ---- a day before the first Board examination.

“The initiative was to help answer all subject-related queries of the students 24 hours before the examination so that they could go into the examination hall without any tension. We were flooded with calls which were handled by an expert panel comprising teachers from schools across the city and counsellors who helped us realise our objective with their selfless service,” said Nidhi Lauria, head of sales and operation at Studymate.

The helpline received around 3,500 calls for subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, economics and accountancy. Apart from this, a Facebook page was also created to help reach a larger number of students.
