Hijack scare case: Court rejects CA's bail plea

The bail plea of chartered accountant arrested for allegedly creating a hijack scare onboard an Indigo aircraft was on Saturday rejected by a Delhi Court.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Goel dismissed the bail application of Jitendra Kumar Mohla on the ground that the offence committed by him was serious and also, the investigation into the case was at an initial stage.

Senior advocate H S Phoolka had on Friday appeared for the CA and sought his release claiming that he was being made a scapegoat by the police.
