Six HT photographers have won awards and received special mention in this year’s Media Foundation of India (MFI) Photo Competition. The announcement was made on the MFI website on Friday.

In the Daily Life category, the first prize went to Arijit Sen (Delhi) and the second to Manoj Patil (Mumbai). Hemant Padalkar, also from Mumbai, won the third prize in the Art and Culture section. Ashok Nath Dey (Kolkata) found Honourable Mention in the Spot News section, as did Ajay Aggarwal (Delhi) for the Sports category. Virendra singh Gosain (Delhi) also found Honourable Mention in the Daily Life section.
