Not given promotion for the past several years, over 150 employees posted in the Directorate General of Income Tax (Investigation), New Delhi, have decided to move Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) again.

The employees claimed that despite the department's assurances, they have neither been granted promotions, nor have they been merged with another cadre that would bring them on a par with other department employees.
