India Inc welcomed the Ayodhya verdict pronounced by Allahabad High Court with cautious optimism and hoped that communal harmony prevails and economic growth continues.

The Federation of Industrial Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) in its statement appealed to all sections of society and people of religious faiths to maintain peace and continue with their active professional lives. “Any wide scale disturbance will jeopardize the effort of economic growth, inclusion, poverty eradication and calibrated globalisation,” said Rajan Bharti Mittal, president, Ficci.
Hari S Bhartia, president Confederation of Indian Industry said, “Following the ruling by the Allahabad High Court on Ayodhya, CII hopes that peace and order would be maintained and no disruptions would be caused to normal life and business would continue uninterrupted.” Bhartiya welcomed the fact that legal process was being followed to arrive at a resolution on the Ayodhya issue.
Terming the Allhabad High Court verdict a win-win situation for all parties concerned Assocham in its statement said that further legal possibilities are open to all. The Chamber expressed its confidence that no anti-national elements would disrupt peace and communal harmony.
