Counter-terrorism and issues regarding the nuclear cooperation will come up for discussion at the India-US strategic dialogue to be held in New Delhi on July 19.

With the strategic dialogue taking place days after the Mumbai terrorist attack, external affairs minister SM Krishna and US secretary of state Hillary Clinton are expected to focus on terrorism.
“We are committed to this important relationship with India with regard to cooperation in counter-terrorism and security concerns and we will be as responsive as we can be,” said US embassy Chargé d'Affaires, Peter Burleigh.
Despite public assurance from the US, India still has concerns of the nuclear suppliers group strengthening the guidelines for the transfer of ENR (enrichment and reprocessing) technology.
“We hope to have discussions on this front”, said an Indian official.
