Insider's hand suspected in Kalaji robbery

Investigating Saturday's armed robbery that took place at a senior citizen's house in Kalkaji, the police believe the robbers were known to the victim. According to a senior investigating officer, the police have collected some vital clues.

Investigating Saturday's armed robbery that took place at a senior citizen's house in Kalkaji, the police believe the robbers were known to the victim. According to a senior investigating officer, the police have collected some vital clues.

More than 50 people have been interrogated. Police believe that two of the three robbers were known to the victim as they had put on masks to hide their identity.

On Saturday, Majumdar was alone at her house when three robbers, posing as postmen, arrived and decamped with cash and jewellery after holding her hostage at knife point. She was gagged, beaten up and threatened before the robbers fled with the robbed booty.
