Police said a group of four persons moving in a Mahindra Bolero vehicle in Sector-7 area in Faridabad was rounded up late on Tuesday night.

"On the basis of the preliminary interrogation, they confessed to have looted many four-wheelers, including dumpers," said Ranvir Singh said, in-charge, sector-30 crime investigating agency.

"We have recovered two Hywa dumpers and a Bolero, which the four youth confessed to have looted from Gurgaon, Faridabad and Alwar area," Singh said. The arrested youth were identified as Arshad, Sajid, Shakeel and Ajaz of Tawdoo area in Mewat.

"These four youth had been operating in other states also," officials said, adding, "we are hopeful of recovering many more stolen vehicles."
