Websites offering study material are handy, helpful for exams, say teachers.

The Internet has proved to be a goldmine for students, preparing for board exams. With numerous websites making mock tests and reference material available, students are now spoilt for choice.

Sites like , , onlineteachers.co.in, and provide extensive study material to students. This pertains not just to test material, but tutorials for different subjects as well.

“Thousands of students from across the world have subscribed to such service. Many a time, students are hesitant to clear their doubts in classroom. This tutorial module is handy and no material is lifted off the Internet,” said Shashank Sharma, who works with www.meritnation.com.

Students, principals say, must start functioning according to the board exam pattern, which tests their physical and mental endurance levels. “Students need to focus on being mentally and physically attuned to the board exam pattern. So, they have to ensure that they are capable of sitting through three hours of test, without a break,” Kapoor said.

However, it is not just study websites, which have students acquiring reference and test material for board exams. Facebook and social networking sites have also come up as an interactive hub for students.

Facebook’s ‘Teenage Learning Centre’ and ‘iCBSE’ have come up as popular pages where students have started exchanging information related to the exam.
