IPS Wives’ Association honours meritorious students

In a bid to encourage wards of officials serving various Central Police Organisations (CPOs) across India, the IPS Wives’ Welfare Association (IPSWWA), on Monday, honoured 21 meritorious students, including 15 girls, for scoring high marks in Class XII exams.

In a bid to encourage wards of officials serving various Central Police Organisations (CPOs) across India, the IPS Wives’ Welfare Association (IPSWWA), on Monday, honoured 21 meritorious students, including 15 girls, for scoring high marks in Class XII exams.

The students were awarded merit certificates, along with prize money of Rs 2,000.

On the occasion, IPSWWA president Surekha Mathur lauded the efforts of the wards and their parents who are deployed in remote border areas or on internal security duties.

The function was facilitated by IPSWWA secretary Dr. Nandini Azad and hosted by Sadhana Bhatia, wife of the director general of the ITBP.
