Land in south-west Delhi freed from encroachment

The Delhi government has freed land measuring approximately 110 bighas from encroachment in Daulatpur village near Najafgarh in south west Delhi. According to sources, the land that had been encroached for years was removed on October 30.

"The land has been given to the gram sabha to ensure it doesn't get encroached upon again. A decision will be taken whether to construct a school or a dispensary at the site, which will be beneficial for the nearby inhabitants," said an official.

According to sources, the market price of the land is approximately Rs. 80 crore.
