The Delhi government's revenue department will complete the process of computerising land records in some parts of the city by March 2013.

Reviewing the computerisation process, chief minister Sheila Dikshit said it would help contain cases of litigation, social conflicts and land disputes, corruption in the issuance of copies of land records and mutations.
Dikshit added that it would ensure that government records of land were not tampered with.
“With computerisation of land records, we will be able to plan development works in rural areas of the city, undertake infrastructural and environmental development, and integrate computerised land records with sub-registrar offices to initiate automatic mutation process simultaneously,” Dikshit said.
