According to officials, the airport witnessed bad weather conditions for one hour between 3 and 4 p.m. “Sudden rise in wind speed and change in its direction disturbed the flight path, forcing the air traffic control to divert flights to neighbouring airports of Jaipur, Lucknow and Srinagar," an airport official said.
