Man held for smuggling gold
Gold jewellery worth Rs 25.42 lakh concealed in the socks of an Indian national, who flew from Dubai on Saturday, was seized by customs officials at IGI airport.

Gold jewellery worth Rs 25.42 lakh concealed in the socks of an Indian national, who flew from Dubai on Saturday, was seized by customs officials at IGI airport.
Officials said, the passenger arrived at 3.10pm. The Air Customs prevention officers intercepted the man and scanned his bags. “During the search , about 1.3kg of gold jewellery was found concealed in his socks,” an official said.
