A 22-year-old man, Pankaj, was arrested for committing thefts at lawyers’ chambers and stealing from their cars parked outside the Patiala house court.

Police say, Pankaj had fallen in love with a lawyer’s daughter in Bihar. When the lawyer objected, Pankaj, to overcome his frustration, resorted to stealing only from lawyers.

“Pankaj, a native of Begusarai in Bihar was arrested on August 10 by an officer on patrolling duty at India Gate. He was found to be in possession of a knife, subsequent to which a case under Arms Act was registered at the Tilak Marg police station,” said a police officer, Pankaj has already been arrested in nine cases earlier.
