Man kidnaps boss’ son, held

Upset over being fired from job due to his drinking habit, a 22-year-old man kidnapped his employer’s five-year-old son. HT reports.

Upset over being fired from job due to his drinking habit, a 22-year-old man kidnapped his employer’s five-year-old son. The incident took place in Naraina area on April 24 and the kidnapper, identified as Ram Karan was arrested.

The boy was rescued from Gonda district in UP where he was being kept by Karan.

“Ram was deserted by his wife two years ago and was lonely. After being fired from job, he wanted to teach his employer a lesson and so he had kidnapped the child,” AK Ojha, DCP (southwest) said.

Apart from this, Ram had developed attachment with the boy and had planned to keep the kidnapped child for ever.
