Noting that there was "no internal feud" in the Bengal unit, senior CPI(M) leader Biman Bose on Friday claimed that the "gameplan" of party's opponents was revealed with Maoists seeking support of Trinamool Congress in Lalgarh.
Bose said that Maoists seeking support of Trinamool Congress in Lalgarh has also "proved" that the latter and its rainbow alliance were behind the violence in Nandigram.
"The game plan is by Trinamool Congress and their rainbow alliances. That has been proved by the Maoists saying 'we helped them in Nandigram and now we seek the help of them (TC) in Lalgarh," he told reporters in New Delhi.
His reaction came when it was pointed out that CPI (Maoists) have sought support of Trinamool Congress to their movement in Lalgarh in West Bengal "in return to the support given to TC during Nandigram".
To a question whether there is any internal feud in CPI(M) that has led to the present situation in West Bengal, he replied in the negative.
"A section of media always try to find internal feud within CPI(M) or Left forces. Now either they have to support the internal terroristic activities, the murders (in the state) or have to find out a solution to save their face by saying an internal feud is within CPI(M)," Bose said.
