Acting tough against unauthorised constructions, the MCD on Thursday demolished illegal portions in 26 properties in the different areas of the city.
The drive was carried out in MCD Central Zone, Civil Lines Zone and Rohini Zone with the help of police.

Officials said the areas where demolition action was undertaken include Pulpehladpur, Sangam Vihar, Model Town, Burari, Jahangirpuri, Swaroop Vihar, Azadpur Village, Adarsh Nagar, Shalimar Bagh, Shakurpur and Rani Bagh.
