The Minister also visited the Paharganj area to assess progress of works related to road beautification.
He also instructed officials concerned not to compromise on quality of work to meet the deadline.
The RUB at Vivek Vihar is scheduled to be commissioned in March 2010. It is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 8.75 crore.
The MCD has assured that it will complete its assigned work relating to construction of road and service road on both sides of the RUB.
