“MCD is considering implementation of a clause of Right to Education Act, 2005 in which local bodies have been entrusted responsibility of imparting education to children up to 14 years.

The MCD can then extend its schools up to middle level,” said Mahender Nagpal, chairman of MCD’s education committee.
