Metro services on the Central Secretariat-Sarita Vihar corridor will begin an hour late instead of the usual timing from Sunday to facilitate the integration process of the Sarita Vihar-Badarpur section with the existing line.

From Sunday till October 24, services on the line will begin at 7 am instead of the usual 6 am, a DMRC spokesman said.
This is necessary to give DMRC's signalling, telecommunication, electrical and track engineers more working time for the linkage and integration at the Sarita Vihar station, he said.
The Sarita Vihar-Badarpur section is likely to be integrated with the existing Central Secretariat-Sarita Vihar line by the end of this month.
Normal train services from 6 am on this section will be restored from 25th October 2010 onwards.
However, Metro train services on all other lines will remain normal and will commence services from 6 am as usual, the spokesman added.
