A property dealer who had gone missing from his residence on Sunday was found dead in the Dwarka on Tuesday. The deceased, Giri Raj (60), was found strangled in a Sector 9 park. Raj was a retired government official who started working as a property dealer after retirement.

According to the police, it was Raj's son Vijay Singh who called the police around 8:15 am on Tuesday and said his father was kidnapped and possibly murdered.
Police said there were strangulation marks on his neck and suspected he was murdered due to personal enmity. "We suspect he was murdered due to personal enmity or a financial dispute. We are probing the case from all possible angles," a senior police officer said.
"He may have been killed by people who knew him. Prima facie, it seems known men picked Raj from his residence. We are investigating the motive behind the murder. The body has been sent for post-mortem," a senior police officer said.
