A misty morning greeted Delhiites on Thursday as the minimum temperature settled at a comfortable 8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal minimum temperature during this point of the season.

The maximum temperature was recorded at three degrees Celsius above normal at 23.9 degrees Celsius, Met office said.
The minimum temperature on Wednesday was 6.7 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature hovered around 22 degrees Celsius.
The Met office said there was mist in the morning and predicted a partly cloudy sky towards afternoon/evening.
The maximum temperature tomorrow will hover around 24 degrees Celsius, the weathermen said.
January this year has been warmer so far as compared to last year when the minimum temperature dropped below five degrees a number of times.
The season's lowest temperature was recorded on January 2 when the minimum temperature plummeted to four degrees. On January eight, the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.5 degree Celsius, the second lowest of the season.
In 2008, the lowest temperature during the month was recorded on January 2 when the mercury dipped to 1.9 degrees.
