Models held for assaulting HT staff

Police arrested the two models — Inder Bajwa and Lalit Tehlan — who allegedly thrashed a HT photojournalist outside Emporio, Vasant Kunj, in the wee hours on Sunday, reports HT Correspondent.

Police arrested the two models — Inder Bajwa and Lalit Tehlan — who allegedly thrashed a HT photojournalist outside Emporio, Vasant Kunj, in the wee hours on Sunday. The incident occurred at an after show party of Delhi Fashion Week.

The party took an ugly turn when the models took off their clothes and picked up a fight with journalists when they were being clicked. HT photojournalist Dijeshwar Singh had to be administered stitches as he was badly beaten up the two accused.

They were arrested on Tuesday on charges of hurt and wrongful restraint at the Vasant Kunj police station. They were later granted bail.
