Justice Mukta Gupta granted the relief to Anushree Kundra, apprehending arrest by the Maharashtra Police in the case and said she will not be arrested for the next four days. The court, meanwhile, asked her to appear before the court concerned in Pune after expiry of the period.

Kundra, an IT professional, is accused of burning alive 26-year-old Juhi Prasad, a lawyer and a relative of BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy, on October 13 in Pune, police alleged.

Nimesh Sinha, Kundra's former lover who later got engaged with the deceased lawyer, survived with minor burn injuries, police said.

Kundra was allegedly angry after hearing about Sinha's engagement to Juhi. She went to his Pune residence and had a verbal duel with them on the issue.

In the bail application, Kundra claimed she has been implicated and there was even an attempt to kill her that day but she somehow escaped.

Kundra's lawyer also alleged that Nimesh wanted to kill both Juhi and Anushree.
