NDMC begins prunning trees

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has started carrying out pruning of trees which either come in the way of traffic movement or obstruct streetlights.

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has started carrying out pruning of trees which either come in the way of traffic movement or obstruct streetlights. A decision in this regard was taken last week and work has already started by the horticulture department.

According to the civic agency, it had received a few complaints that some of the roads were not well lit as the streetlights were obstructed by the trees.
