As a computerised slip will be issued the contractor cannot overcharge. The slip will have a unique number on it which in case of theft or any damage to the vehicle can be used as a proof.

Hand-held devices
With parking mafia printing out their own parking slips, these machines can be used to curb that menace. These machines will bring in transparency as the contractor will not be able to tamper with the rates written on the slips.
Uniform parking slip
In every nook and corner of the city various parking contractors print their own parking slips which vary from green to red colour. Also, few parking contractors have also started using computerised slips. If parking slips are of one colour and in same format across the city, motorists will be able to know the difference between genuine and fake parking receipts.
