What viewers couldn’t find on TV, they’re finding on YouTube. The clip of Andhra Pradesh Governor ND Tiwari (84) purportedly having sex with three women in Raj Bhavan was YouTube’s most-watched video in India on Saturday.

The 3-minute, 55-second clip, telecast by TV channel ABN Andhra Jyothy, was taken off air after a court order on Friday. Subsequently, YouTube views of the clips crossed the 2-lakh mark in a day. While the octogenarian’s alleged misadventure is unlikely to replace all-time favourites like Paris Hilton’s sexcapade in February 2006 (46.24 lakh views), the interest in the alleged bedroom romp sparked off a lively online debate.
Viewers posted rumours about the launch of new blue pill named ‘NDT’ for men in search of extra vigour, while others saw it as a political ploy to divert attention from the Telangana issue.
Other TV clips from Andhra that were hot on YouTube included the dancing condoms ad from 2007 (304,299 views) and those of former CM Y.S.R. Reddy’s chopper crash on September 3 (12,821 views).
