The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued a contempt notice to the director of Delhi government’s night shelter project.
The court took a serious view of a ‘highly objectionable’ letter to an NGO, which is helping to implement the court’s orders aimed at welfare of the homeless.
Raising doubts about the credibility of the NGO Shahari Adhikar Manch Begharon Ke Sath, AK Sharma, the director of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board questioned its source of funds.
