Opposition to corner govt on two issues

The monsoon session of Delhi Assembly will witness the Opposition cornering the government on power hike issue.

The BJP is also planning to take up the proposed privatisation of Delhi Jal Board (DJB) too.

Three government bills will also be tabled in Delhi Assembly’s monsoon session starting on Tuesday.

The session which will go on for three days will see three bills — The Delhi Technical University (Amendment) Bill 2012, The Delhi Cooperative Societies (Amendment) 2012, and The Entertainment and Betting Tax (Amendment) Bill 2012.
