Ownership for resettlement colonies?

Union minister Kamal Nath also said that the government was considering granting ownership rights to 45 resettlement colonies in the capital. People living in these colonies will be given ownership rights and freehold deeds.

Union minister Kamal Nath also said that the government was considering granting ownership rights to 45 resettlement colonies in the capital. People living in these colonies will be given ownership rights and freehold deeds.

Nath also said that providing housing to the poor has been made the focal point for the Delhi Development Authority and one lakh EWS and LIG houses will be built every year. He also said that in situ development of houses at slum clusters is also being planned.He said this would counter coming up of unauthorised colonies in the future and benefit 4.5 lakh people.
