New Era Public School, Mayapuri, celebrated their annual day. The chief guest for the occasion was Jyoti Bose, principal, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan. The event included a play, Pinocchio, recreating the magic of the well-known fictional character, brought to life by the Blue Fairy, magically; a musical play, Maestros, which highlighted the contribution of Beethoven, Leonardo Da Vinci, Shakespeare & Tansen and a ballet, ‘Triumph over Tragedy’, showcased the contribution of Beethoven who created awe-inspiring music despite being deaf. Founder principal and director, Usha Chopra and principal, Vandana Chawla awarded prizes to meritorious students.

Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar, has been conferred with the ISA, International School Award, an accreditation scheme initiated by the British Council. The award was received by Sunita Rajiv, the ISA coordinator, from the British seputy high commissioner, Mike Nithavrianakis in a ceremony held at Chennai. director, South India British Council, Paul Sellers was also present on the occasion.

Loretto Convent, Delhi Cantt held a special ceremony to honour His Excellency Arch Bishop Salvatore Pennacchio, Apostlic Nuncio from the Vatican City who visited the school. The underprivileged children from Holy Family Asha Niwas and Jharera village were invited to the school to be a part of the celebration. While addressing the children, His Excellency Arch Bishop Salvatore Pennacchio appreciated the efforts taken by principal Agnis Davis and the staff of Loretto convent to sensitise the children towards the underprivileged sections of society and also motivated them further to love and serve humanity.
