Petitioner Gaurav Bansal, a lawyer, told the court that the relatives of those killed and injured in various bomb blasts in the Capital in the past one decade have got different compensation amounts.

"Same was the situation regarding welfare measures of women and orphaned children," Bansal said, adding it was in violation of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. The HC has now asked the Delhi government and the Centre to file its reply by July 22.
