With the condition of ailing CPI(M) leader Jyoti Basu critical, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is going to Kolkata on Thursday to see the former West Bengal Chief Minister.
Singh will be leaving for the West Bengal capital in the morning and there is a possibility of the scheduled Union Cabinet meeting being postponed till the evening, official sources said.

The condition of 95-year-old Basu, in a Kolkata hospital with pneumonia, remained critical today.
