Large parts of east Delhi reeled under long power cuts on Wednesday because of tripping of the Delhi Transco line and the grid developing technical snag.
While the 220KV grids of Indraprastha and Patparganj developed technical snags affecting power supply to the adjoining areas, the 400KV Mandola lines also tripped in the afternoon.

Areas such as Mayur Vihar, Patparganj, New Ashok Nagar, Madhu Vihar, Karkardooma, Pandav Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, among others were affected.
