Prize distribution at Amity International School

Various other distinguished guests graced the occasion. In her address, Principal, Renu Singh welcomed the guests and congratulated the students. The event included a Jugalbandi of Bharatnatyam and Kathak. Swapna Paul, Headmistress announced the names of prize winners. Over 2400 prizes and certificates for both academics and co-curricular activities were awarded to the meritorious students.

New State Academy Senior Secondary School, Pitampura hosted 10th Satya Kamrah Memorial Day. The day was also observed as Shakespeare day and a tribute to ‘The Bard of Avon’ was paid by conducting an English debate, ‘Crosswords’. The Rolling Trophy for the debate was bagged by Bal Bharti, Pitampura while a combined Rolling Trophy for all other events was bagged by Sachdeva Public School, Pitampura. Principal Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia extended vote of thanks.

Manava Bharati India International School, Panchsheel Park observed a ‘Social Sciences Week’. The Social Science Department organised various quizzes, skits and board displays. The highlights of the week were the ‘Walk to Save the Environment’, a mock Panchayat and a mock Parliament. During the week, there were a number of PowerPoint presentations by the students on topics such as the French Revolution and the historical monuments of India. At the end of the week, Principal, Bharati Pandey advised the students to develop a passion for arts and literature as this would add value to whatever they chose to do in their lives.
