The probe into the ‘cash-for-vote’ scam is no where near complete.

The Lok Sabha committee, which is inquiring into the issue, will seek further extension of its term till September 30. This is the second time the committee has decided it wants more time since it was set up after the three BJP MPs displayed wads of currency notes in the House.

At its meeting on Wednesday, “each member gave his views and the committee will be meeting again on September 11 to deliberate on the preparation of the report”, committee chairman V Kishore Chandra Deo said.
