So far, the police have just one clue - a vague 'sketch' of the killer. "We have three eyewitnesses who claim to have seen the killer from different angles. The sketch is based on their accounts," said DCP (south) HGS Dhaliwal.

"We showed this to the family's friends and neighbours and they told us that a few years back, a man was beaten up for harassing Radhika in Naraina village," he added. "Nobody knows who he is, where his residence is. There is no documentation of the incident as it was not reported to the police."

The DCP said there were three incidents of locals beating up some youth for harassing girls in the west Delhi village in the last three months. "We are looking into all these."

This is the second time the city police have launched a major manhunt. A 600-strong team was formed last year to nab five men who raped a woman in Dhaula Kuan.
