Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit’s parliamentary secretary Mukesh Sharma today said the mayors of the three civic bodies should resign, for poor preparedness for tackling the downpour that brought the capital to its knees.

“It is because of carelessness of the the BJP-ruled civic agencies that life in the city was thrown out of gear,” Sharma said.
