Results of detained DU students to be out soon

Final year students of Dyal Singh College (morning), who are facing the possibility of losing out a year because of the lackadaisical attitude of the university's examination branch and their college, have now been given some relief.

The university has now decided to declare their examination results so that don't miss another year if they have passed those exams. The results, however, will not come in time and the students will still have to sit for the first exam on Tuesday.

DU registrar Alka Sharma confirmed on Monday that the university has decided to declare their results.

B. Raja Rajan, Deputy Controller of Examinations, South campus, said, "We have received the file and will declare the results at the earliest. It should most probably happen by Tuesday, but not before the paper begins." However, a student complained: "We have been running around for the last few days, trying to get clarity on the issue rather than studying."
