In a move to rectify one of the several error committed during the conduct of the examination this year, Delhi University (DU) will conduct a re-examination for students of BA (Honours) who had Sanskrit as the concurrent course.

On May 8, close to 40 students were affected by a lapse in the question paper for Sanskrit, wherein the paper had been set incorrectly. The university administration had then blamed the department concerned for setting the incorrect paper.

The re-examination will be conducted on May 30 at 9 am in the respective colleges that offer the concurrent course.

"The department had committed an error while setting the paper because the questions asked were different from what the students had been taught in class, as a result of which they could not attempt it. So, we will conduct another exam for them," said a senior DU official.

SC/ST admissions

Delhi University students who got admission under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes category last year but failed to complete their first year, will be given another chance to apply this year.
