A cross country run, a rock concert by Cyanide, poster-making competition and a fashion show — these are just a few of the means through which the school hopes dilute the challenge of inspiring students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Starting next week, the school will host a six-day event called the Good Life Campaign to endorse healthy living. The campaign has another serious undertone. It includes a silent auction of paintings made by the schools students and by artists of Akhil Bhartiya Kalakar Sangh for the benefit of flood victims in Bihar.

“It’s our responsibility to ensure that education in school is well-rounded and not just limited to textbook learning. This campaign, which is a step in that direction, will kick off with a marathon and culminate with a blood donation camp,” said Principal Lata Vaidyanathan.
