According to police, the incident took place at the CNG station in Dhaula Kuan late on Saturday.

Vijay Thakur was accompanied by his wife when the incident took place. He alleged that four men attacked him.

“These men first verbally abused me and then assaulted me. They also robbed me of my mobile phone and also misbehaved with my wife Anamika when she rushed to help me,” said Thakur.

The police said that the four accused were driving a Hyundai Accent.

Thakur sustained injuries on his face and head. He later lodged a complaint against the accused with the Chanakyapuri Police Station and went to RML hospital for treatment late at night.
