Sharpshooter held in Rohini

The accused, identified as Sandeep alias Raju, said he is an active member of the 'Sanjay Rathee gang'.

Sandeep was arrested from Rohini Sector-25. "We had a information that Sandeep would come and plan a robbery in Rohini. After identifying him, the police warned him. Instead of surrendering, he took out a loaded country-made pistol," BS Jaiswal, DCP (outer) said.

"He was overpowered after a slight scuffle," he added.

Two live cartridges were also recovered from him.
